What a start to 2022!

We are delighted to have been listed in BBC Countryfile Magazine’s ‘Best Romantic Cottages and Cosy Hideaways to stay in the UK’ feature published at the end of January 2022. There are 17 fabulous, and very different, properties included and we are simply over the moon to be one of them!

Here is their write up of the barn:

‘Swallow Barn is a cosy cottage for two set in the heart of the rolling Devonshire countryside. Converted from a Grade II-listed barn it is furnished in farmhouse style with a super king sized bed, exposed beams, stripped floors and a wood-burner that ensures couples keep toasty on chilly evenings. Romantic strolls can be enjoyed from the Barn across the neighbouring estate, with plenty of longer walks to be had across nearby Dartmoor’.
